My son is in JROTC and they were in our local Veterans Day Parade which was held today.

This weekend, my better half and the kiddos traveled to Missouri to see my stepson play in his Senior Homecoming football game. My stepdaughter is in the color guard. We had fun seeing them and spending time with them.

I promised the girl we would do something special, and we are thinking about going to the ceramics place and checking it out. Also talking with some friends about having a “craft” party – adults and kids alike getting together one weekend and just crafting. Thought it sounded like fun. Might be fun to do some Halloween crafts next month, who knows?

Let’s see, the 5 week progress reports are supposed to come home tomorrow and I see some groundings in a couple of children’s futures. Heh.
